According to this advertisement, National Bank of Pakistan is looking to hire professionals for positions in the area of Corporate and Investment Banking based in Karachi. Individuals who fulfill the required basic eligibility criteria can apply for the positions mentioned in the advertisement.


Position 1 Wing Head Business and Credit Processing AVP VP

Reporting To

Wing Head Business and Credit Processing

Educational and Professional Qualification

Minimum graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
Candidates having a Master’s degree and or relevant certification will be preferred

Experience

Minimum 06 years of experience in the Banking Industry and or Financial Institution
Out of total experience, 03 years in Credit Risk or Credit Analysis or Relationship Management and or relevant field

Other Skills and Expertise Required

Strong analytical and structuring skills
Sound understanding of products and services offered in Corporate and Investment Banking
Excellent relationship management skills and credit-related expertise
Thorough understanding of local and regional corporate client base
Understanding of regulatory regime will be an advantage

Outline of Main Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Wing Head BCP or Divisional Head SBD in processing credit proposals initiated by Regions or Divisions on Pan Pakistan basis
Improve quality of credit proposals by complying with regulatory benchmarks and internal policies
Submit credit proposals to partner groups post signing from Group Chief CIBG
Follow up with RM, UH, RCH, DH, CRMGC and Management Credit Committee Secretariat
Process agenda papers for Board Risk and Compliance Committee and Board of Directors
Submit proposals for agenda papers to MCC and Board approval
Act as focal point between relevant internal stakeholders
Liaison with Regional Corporate Centers and Divisions
Coordinate with MCC and Board Secretariat for draft minutes and approvals
Prepare and seek temporary extensions in limit expiry of Pan Pakistan corporate obligors
Maintain MIS of credit proposals and extensions
Provide updates to BRCC on matters related to weak finances
Ensure cordial communication with internal stakeholders
Perform any other task as assigned by Wing Head BCP or Divisional Head SBD


Position 2 Unit Head MIS and Analytics AVP VP

Reporting To

Wing Head MIS and Analytics

Educational and Professional Qualification

Minimum graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
Candidates having a Master’s degree and or relevant certification will be preferred

Experience

Minimum 06 years of experience in the Banking Industry
Preferably experience in Enterprise Risk Management
Out of total experience, 03 years in Business Analytics or Portfolio Analysis and or relevant field

Other Skills and Expertise Required

Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Strong communication skills
Sound understanding of Corporate and Investment Banking products and services
Strong command over data reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python etc.

Outline of Main Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Wing Head in developing and managing periodic MIS reports
Design and enhance dashboards and analytical tools for senior management
Ensure submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs of CIBG
Ensure finalization of annual budget exercise
Ensure submission of MIS reports as required by internal and external stakeholders
Analyze financial and business data to identify trends and variances
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through quality checks
Collaborate with business and IT teams to streamline data flows
Supervise and guide analytics team
Perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisors


Position 3 Credit Analyst Business and Credit Processing OG AVP

Reporting To

Unit Head Business and Credit Processing

Educational and Professional Qualification

Minimum graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
Candidates having a Master’s degree and or relevant certification will be preferred

Experience

Minimum 04 years of experience in the Banking Industry and or Financial Institution
Out of total experience, 01 year in Credit Risk or Credit Analysis or Relationship Management and or relevant field

Other Skills and Expertise Required

Strong analytical and structuring skills
Sound understanding of Corporate and Investment Banking products
Excellent relationship management and credit expertise
Understanding of local and regional corporate client base
Understanding of regulatory regime will be an advantage

Outline of Main Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Unit Head in assessing credit applications
Conduct proactive and timely credit analysis
Analyze borrower profile including cash flow, leverage, and liquidity
Identify weaknesses and risks impacting business position
Prepare analytical presentations for sector analysis
Provide regular updates on credit risk exposures
Review and prepare risk assessments of CIBG portfolio
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
Perform any other task as assigned by supervisor


Assessment Test and Interview

Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the eligibility criteria will be invited for test and or panel interview.


Employment Type

Employment will be on contractual basis for three years, which may be renewed at the discretion of management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and benefits as per Bank’s policy and rules.
