Pakistan Railways Vacant Posts and Qualifications
According to the advertisement, Pakistan Railways has announced vacancies for Assistant Land Inspector BS-11, Draftsman CAD Operator BS-11, Revenue Assistant BS-09, and Geographical Information System Associate BS-02.

Quota and Provincial Distribution
These Pakistan Railways jobs are announced on quota basis. Only those candidates are eligible to apply who are permanent residents and possess domicile of the relevant area against which vacancies are available. The quota distribution includes Merit, Punjab, Sindh Urban, Sindh Rural, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Candidates are allowed to apply for more than one post if they meet the qualification requirements.

Age Limit and Relaxation Policy
The age limit for these Pakistan Railways jobs is eighteen to twenty five years along with general age relaxation of five years on the closing date of applications. Additional age relaxation is allowed for candidates belonging to scheduled castes, Buddhist community, Sindh rural, Balochistan, recognized tribes of tribal areas, AJK and Northern Areas. Ex-servicemen, government servants, disabled persons and widows of deceased civil servants are also eligible for age relaxation according to government rules.

Selection Procedure and Instructions
Eligibility of candidates will be determined on the basis of qualifications, written test and interview. The weightage will be seventy percent for written test and thirty percent for interview. Government employees must apply through proper channel with NOC. Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected. No TA or DA will be admissible for test or interview.
Selected candidates will be required to pass medical examination, security clearance and specified training. Posting can be made anywhere in Pakistan Railways system in the relevant cadre.

Interested candidates can apply online through National Job Portal at www.njp.gov.pk. Applications must be submitted within twenty days of publication of this advertisement in the newspaper. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained. A processing fee of Rs.1000 for each application must be deposited as mentioned in the advertisement and the receipt should be uploaded with the application.
